L. has no problem in taking the road less traveled. On his visits to Boston and in our travels in Portugal we are constantly discovering things because we turn on the road that looks small but leads to big things. Since our house will need renovations soon, L. is always on the lookout for other homes undergoing construction.
This house on the road from Sintra to Colares is actually a house we looked into buying. But there were 2o "herdeiros" and that scared us a bit. Now, five years later it is finally getting the attention it deserves. Unfortunately, the wood decoration around the "telhado" is gone but hopefully the true essence of the house will be preserved.
The pictures speak for themselves in showing the glorious methods used to build these beautiful Portuguese Chalets.
