caza do commercio

Setúbal, April 2007

This shop in Setúbal must have been so very interesting...now it is a large scale department store.

Well, the saga over my camera continues....my father sent me one as a gift (supposedly) but in Luís´name (a hint?) and since he was away on a business trip the camera is stuck at the post office and tomorrow is a holiday. I am still trying to come to terms that my father prefers Luís over me. ;)

Sarah made banana pudding and I haven´t had it in ages. There is an easy recipe here.

Ohh, espero que o Luís venha depressa!;)
É muito triste o destino que estas lojas acabaram por ter... só me lembra de uma no Porto que era uma armazém de papéis de parede com mais de 100 anos. Fizeram uma liquidação total da qual resgatei dois do papéis mais lindos que já vi, artesanais. Mas depois foi vendida, e nem o recheio escapou. Tinha um tecto sumptuoso forrado de talha de madeira, todo esculpido, certamente entrgue a uma "loja de antiguidades". Numa semana depois, qual não é o meu espanto... estava uma loja chinesa cheia de luzes fluorescentes e telemóveis e roupa e manequins pavorosos no seu lugar. Quase deu para chorar.
