a Rosa

It is a village like any other found in Portugal but when I am there I feel right. I was, am lucky to be able to go there. Like Fatima says " there is nothing like being in the country".

There are the milky way, beetles, codeços, peneira (flocks of grass, urze, giesta, tojo (all wild plants found up North), oak, people, waterfalls, vinho verde (it has soul), fresh water, song, goats, garranos (horses natural to the North), granite, grandness, earth, mud, roman bridges and young women with stacks of hay on their heads proclaiming " this is not heavy, I walk lightly" while smiling.

I read and I think I understand what it sais, one word here and one word there... but when I try to put it together I haven´t understood a thing. Maybe I should get myself a portugese dictionary.

Is this Fatima?
