I like seeing fruits and vegetables, especially garlic and onions on countertops in people´s kitchens. I like the colors and textures and the garlic and onion I think I include them in almost every dish I make. These remind me of a possible patchwork color palette. I´ve already some scraps from a friend. :)

Sem dúvida! Quando a cebola, o alho ou o louro faltam... falta tudo! Ah! Não esquecer o azeite, também não sei fazer nada sem ele.

To bring them together as a quilt would be marvellous. I love this starting point. I need to open my mind a little. I like the subtle colours in there. The pink of the onion skin and the russet opaque olive.
Maybe you could sew apple and onion peel together?
