This morning I awoke thinking about America. In primary school from grade 1 until grade 6, every morning we would stand near our desk, put our right hand over our heart and say

" I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America. And to the Republic for which it stands, One nation under God with Liberty and Justice for all."

I remember in 5th grade with Ms. Colleran, my teacher, we would then sing a patriotic verse from a patriotic song....God Bless America, America, the Beautiful, Yankee Doodle, You´re a Grand Ole Flag.....
