Brownies of Citron

450 grams of flour

225 of sugar

225 of butter melted

4 eggs

Juice of 1/2 of citron of choice (small if lemons or limes medium or large if orange)

1 teaspoon of citron peel (raspa)

for frosting

100g powdered sugar

2 tablespoons of citron juice

1 teaspoon of citron peel

Directions:

Mix all ingredients until blended but not too much. Grease and flour a square pan, 10x10 cm for example, and pour batter spreading out if needed ,as the batter is thick. Bake in 175 celcius or 350 fahrenheit preheated ovenuntil a toothpick comes out clean in center of cake. Take out and with fork make holes in top of cake.

Frosting:

mix powdered sugar, citron juice and peel and a little bit of water if needed. Spread over cake.
